OPEN IMPELLER · SUSPENDED SOLIDS
DWO open-impeller stainless-steel pumps

DWO is a stainless-steel centrifugal range with an open impeller for liquids carrying suspended solids within the catalogue limits. The brochure cites food washing, industrial bottle and crate washing, and process duties where the liquid may contain particles.
Range technical data
- Power range
- 0.37–4 kW
- Maximum flow
- 72 m³/h
- Maximum head
- 19 m
- Suction connections
- 1¼, 2 or 2½ in, by model
- Electrical supply
- 1~ 220–240 V or 3~ 380–415 V, 50 Hz, by model
These figures describe the catalogue range or stated subrange. Maximum flow and maximum head/pressure are not a single duty point. Select the exact model from its curve and confirm materials, electrical version and connections.

A closer look at the series
Unlike the clean-liquid CM range, DWO is described for process water with suspended material. Its open-impeller layout is paired with AISI 304 stainless-steel pump body and impeller, and the construction view identifies the seal and support materials separately. Typical applications include washing vegetables, meat and fish; washing bottles, jars, glasses and crates; and handling dirty liquid in paint-related processes.
This is not a blanket allowance for any solids concentration or chemical composition. The one-page table contains model-specific performance and solids limits that must be consulted for the intended liquid. Confirm flow, head, particle size, electrical variant and operating pressure before applying the range.
Features
- Open impeller for specified suspended solids
- AISI 304 pump body and impeller
- Single- and three-phase model codes
- Model table with performance and solids limits
Applications
- Food-process washing
- Industrial container washing
- Dirty-liquid process transfer
Materials
AISI 304 pump body, open impeller and shaft; carbon/ceramic/NBR mechanical seal; cast-iron support and motor housing. The hydraulic construction is stainless steel, not the entire motor assembly.
Operating conditions
Maximum working pressure 8 bar; liquid temperature up to 90 °C; solids passage up to 19 mm. IP55, class F motor. Single-phase versions have automatic thermal protection; three-phase protection must be supplied by the user.
Construction and application
Before selecting
- Match the dirty-liquid duty to the DWO flow–head table.
- Check actual suspended solids, temperature and compatibility with the wetted materials.
- Confirm inlet/outlet ports, M or T supply and motor protection.
Your questions
Series questions
What applications does the open impeller address?
The brochure lists suspended solids in food-processing washing, industrial washing machines and general handling of dirty liquids. Check the actual liquid and the 19 mm passage limit.
What do M and T mean in a DWO code?
M identifies single-phase and T three-phase supply. The highest listed DWO550T model has no single-phase counterpart in this table.
