SP stainless-steel borehole pumps

SP is a stainless-steel submersible borehole family organized across several well diameters and flow series. Its extensive catalogue provides range overviews, model tables and Q–H curves, making well fit and the required operating point the starting points for selection.
Range technical data
- Power range
- 0.37–110 kW
- Maximum flow
- 180 m³/h
- Maximum head
- 638 m
- Outlets
- 1.25–6 in, by subrange
- Electrical supply
- Listed 4-in single-phase models: 1~ 220–240 V up to 2.2 kW; three-phase models: 3~ 380–415 V; 50 Hz
These figures describe the catalogue range or stated subrange. Maximum flow and maximum head/pressure are not a single duty point. Select the exact model from its curve and confirm materials, electrical version and connections.

A closer look at the series
The SP publication covers many hydraulic combinations, from smaller boreholes to large-capacity well installations. Its opening index groups the series by well diameter and points to detailed pages with performance curves and model data. Stainless-steel construction is identified for the pump family, while the selected motor and electrical characteristics must be checked on the relevant page.
Applications follow the needs of borehole water supply and transfer, where actual well diameter, available water level, required delivery flow and total head determine the choice. The range maxima describe the catalogue as a whole and must not be attached to every SP model. Use the curve and connection data of the chosen series.
Features
- Stainless-steel submersible pump family

- Electrical data tied to selected model
Applications
- Borehole water supply
- Water transfer from wells
- Pressure supply systems
Materials
The SP brochure identifies stainless-steel submersible pumps. A specific stainless grade and full component schedule are not stated on its overview; do not assume a grade for every SP model. Check the series catalogue for the selected configuration.
Operating conditions
The 4–5-inch section specifies liquid up to 35 °C and IP68; insulation is class B for 4-inch and F for 5-inch. The separate 6–10-inch section specifies liquid up to +50 °C and sand content up to 0.25%. Apply each limit only to its stated section.
Construction and application
Before selecting
- Choose the well class and SP subrange using the overview index.
- Select the required flow and head on the relevant model’s curve and confirm the outlet.
- Check the operating limits for that well class and the required starting arrangement.
Your questions
Series questions
Does the +50 °C limit apply to all SP pumps?
No. The overview assigns +35 °C to 4–5-inch series and +50 °C to 6–10-inch series. Keep these conditions separate.
How do I find the appropriate SP model page?
Use the series index: it gives well class, power, maximum flow and head, outlet and page reference. Then use the detailed curve for the actual duty point.

SP / PDF
Use the series index and operating-condition sections on page 2, then follow the page reference for the required SP subrange. Keep the 4–5-inch and 6–10-inch temperature limits separate.
