CDX stainless-steel single-stage centrifugal pumps

CDX stainless-steel single-stage centrifugal pumps
AQUARIS / CDX

CDX is a compact horizontal single-stage pump with axial suction and radial discharge. AISI 304 hydraulic parts and direct motor coupling define the range, which is presented for boosting, supply, treatment, irrigation and air-conditioning water circuits.

CDX

A closer look at the series

The CDX source describes a single-impeller centrifugal pump whose main hydraulic parts are formed from AISI 304 stainless steel. Direct coupling places pump and motor on the same axis, and threaded inlet and outlet connections support straightforward installation. The catalogue distinguishes CDX three-phase models from CDXM single-phase models.

The stated uses include general water pumping and moderately aggressive liquids, subject to the specific fluid and material combination. CDX is a different hydraulic arrangement from the twin-impeller 2CDX series, so their head curves should not be interchanged. For selection, compare flow and total head on the CDX model curve and verify connection, temperature, pressure and electrical supply.

Features

  • Single-stage, single-impeller hydraulics
  • Axial suction and radial discharge
  • AISI 304 hydraulic components
  • CDX three-phase and CDXM single-phase codes

Applications

  • Water pressure boosting
  • Water treatment and irrigation
  • Air-conditioning water circuits

Materials

Operating conditions

Maximum working pressure 8 bar. Domestic-use liquid limit is 35 °C. For other uses the brochure specifies 60 °C for CDX70/05, CDX70/07 and CDX90/10, and 90 °C for other models. Three-phase thermal protection is provided by the user.

Construction and application

Before selecting

  • Choose the model curve for the required flow and head.
  • Apply the temperature limit for the actual model and domestic or other use.
  • Confirm CDX or CDXM supply, port connection and motor protection.

Your questions

Series questions

Can every CDX pump operate at 90 °C?

No. Domestic use is limited to 35 °C; for other uses three named models are limited to 60 °C and the remaining models to 90 °C.

What is the difference between CDX and CDXM supply?

The model designation identifies CDX as three-phase and CDXM as single-phase. Confirm the complete model in the performance table.
